ASHER ABRAHAM, FOUNDER AND MANAGING PARTNER

Asher Abraham is the Founder and Managing Partner of Hadar Capital Partners, an Israel Affiliate Partner at Stonehaven LLC, Member FINRA / SIPC, a private market fintech platform with over $8B in investment transactions since inception. Over the past decade, Abraham has facilitated over $150M of cross-border early stage technology investments in the US, Europe, and Israel, several of which have become known success stories of Israel’s hi-tech industry in recent years.  Prior to founding Hadar Capital Partners, Abraham served as Director of Strategic Partnerships and Head of Americas at Skyline AI, an artificial intelligence real estate asset manager backed by Sequoia Capital, JLL, TLV partners, Nyca Partners, DWS Group (acquired by JLL for $100M). Before that, Abraham led US-East Investor Relations at OurCrowd Management, a leading Israeli venture capital investment platform which ranked as the “most active VC firm in Israel” (per Pitchbook) with over $1.5B in committed capital and over 40 exits. Prior to OurCrowd, Asher successfully led US business growth efforts at Net-Translators (acq. by Morningside), Liberty Mutual Insurance (P&C Group, NY Division), and Cutco/Vector Marketing Corporation. Abraham's work has been featured over the years in The NY Post, WSJ, and Bloomberg. Abraham holds FINRA series 7, 63, 82, and Bachelors of Business Administration in Corporate Finance from Queens College in New York. He lives in Israel with his wife and three children.

About the role: 


Our clients are successful venture capital funds and private technology companies seeking capital partners to fuel their growth. We are seeking an experienced fundraising professional to support and grow successful engagements on behalf of our clients. The role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, high-degree of motivation, an understanding of private capital markets, excellent verbal and written communication skills, creativity, and the ability to work both independently and as a team member. The position is only for those with relevant experience seeking an independent and flexible success-based compensation, have established relationships with private and/or institutional investors, and a proven track record of successful fundraising experience.  This is an opportunity for a finance professional to step into an entrepreneurial role and share in the success of our clients while integrating into the private market hi-tech industry alongside the world-class companies and investors.  Stonehaven LLC Affiliate Partners are trusted investment banking individuals or teams that strategically connect capital and opportunity. Affiliate Partners can work both individually and collaboratively to originate and execute for clients on our platform.


Responsibilities:

  • Build your own independently branded business with the support of a capital markets FinTech platform.
  • Actively pursue your own capital markets business development opportunities and market a full range of investment banking services and solutions to prospective clients.
  • Act as a lead on your deals or participate with others to source capital market solutions for clients across capital formation, M&A or secondary markets.
  • Quarterback discussions between issuers/sellers and investors/buyers through transaction closing.


Professional Requirements: 

  • 5+ years of experience in capital markets. 
  • Valid FINRA Licenses: Series 82, 63, 7.
  • Vast experience working with private wealth clients, HNWI investors, family offices, and institutions. 
  • Proven ability in raising capital. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to establish relationships with sophisticated CEO's and venture capitalists.
  • Knowledge of private capital markets and US financial industry regulations.
  • Experience and high degree of comfort using various technology tools including Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Calendly, Zoom, and others.

ROLE: OPERATIONS MANAGER (REMOTE)

About the role: 

We are seeking an experienced back-office and administrative professional to support our day-to-day activities. The position is only for those seeking fixed (yet flexible) hours to work remotely with relevant experience.

The role is not client facing and 100% computer based, requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, creativity, and the ability to work both independently and as a team member.

This is an opportunity to step into the inner-workings of private capital markets and share in the success of our clients while integrating into the private market hi-tech industry alongside world-class companies and investors.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage full back-office operations – from initial data entry, to managing and coordinating meetings, to full execution of documentation. 
  • Online research on markets and companies
  • Managing multiple short term and long term projects 


Professional Requirements:

  • Highly productive and efficient, very organized and detailed oriented
  • Ability to work in set times (but flexible)
  • Native English speaker, strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience and high degree of comfort using common technology tools including Salesforce, Microsoft Office, Calendly, Zoom, and others.
  • Experience working with attorneys and C-Level management preferred but not required
